Job summary

Integrated Power Services seeks an experienced electrical field service professional to test, troubleshoot, and commission high and medium voltage systems up to 500 kV. You will perform transformer and relay testing, cabling assessments, and ATS troubleshooting while supporting safety and quality standards.

This role requires travel, on-call readiness, and strong communication. IPS values safety, teamwork, and customer focus as core pillars of daily operation.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Associate degree or military electrical power training preferred.
• NETA certification (III or IV) highly preferred.
• OSHA 30 hour, MSHA, NFPA 70-E, CPR/First Aid/BBP/AED training preferred.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience.
• Valid driver's license required.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, test, troubleshoot, perform start-up and collect data on low, medium and high voltage (to 500kV) systems.
• Instrument transformer tests.
• Power transformer testing - Doble, TTR, Insulation Resistance.
• Test relays (electro-mechanical and solid state).
• Cable testing - Tan Delta, Power Factor, VLF, DC Hipot.
• Automatic transfer switch troubleshooting.
• Travel locally and overnight.
• Respond to customer emergencies on call.
• Adhere to electrical safety procedures.
