Job summary

Integrated Power Services, LLC. is seeking qualified technicians to inspect, test, and troubleshoot electrical power systems up to 500kV. You will perform relay and transformer testing and assist with field startup activities in a safety‑conscious environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• 5+ years of relevant experience preferred.
• OSHA 30 hour, MSHA, NFPA 70-E, CPR/First Aid/BBP/AED training preferred.
• Must have at least 3 years of experience operating a vehicle with a valid, unrestricted driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, test, troubleshoot, perform start-up and collect data of low, medium and high voltage electrical systems up to 500kV.
• Test instrument transformers and power transformers (Doble, TTR, insulation resistance).
• Test both electro-mechanical and solid state relays; test cable parameters (Tan Delta, Power Factor, VLF, DC Hipot).
• Troubleshoot automatic transfer switches; test low, medium and high voltage switchgear and breakers.
• Rotate on-call duty and respond to customer emergencies promptly.
• Adhere to electrical safety procedures and work safely in teams.
