Integrated Power Services (IPS) seeks experienced electrical reliability technicians to inspect, test and troubleshoot high- and medium-voltage systems up to 500kV. You will perform transformer and relay tests, cable diagnostics, and switchgear verification while supporting on-site customers across North America.

The role demands strong communication, safety focus, and willingness to travel locally and overnight.

Qualificações

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 5+ years of relevant experience.
• NETA Certification (III or IV) highly preferred.
• OSHA 30 hour, MSHA, NFPA 70-E, CPR/First Aid/BBP/AED training preferred.
• Valid driver’s license with unrestricted record; 3+ years driving experience.

Responsabilidades

• Inspect, test, troubleshoot, start-up and data collection of low, medium and high voltage electrical systems up to 500kV.
• Perform instrument transformer tests.
• Conduct power transformer testing (Doble, TTR, Insulation Resistance, etc.).
• Test electro-mechanical and solid state relays.
• Cable testing (Tan Delta, Power Factor, VLF, DC Hipot).
• Troubleshoot automatic transfer switches.
• Test low, medium and high voltage switchgear and circuit breakers.
• Rotate on-call duties and respond to customer emergencies promptly.
• Travel locally and overnight as required.
• Work flexible hours, overtime and weekends; be on call when needed.
• Adhere to electrical safety procedures and contribute to a strong team environment.
