The role requires PE licensure or ability to obtain within six months and at least five years of consulting experience designing 15–200 kV projects for renewable energy, substations, and transmission. You will prepare drawings and specifications, support construction administration, mentor junior engineers, and collaborate across offices.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering is required.
• PE licensure or ability to obtain within six months is required.
• Minimum of 5 years of consulting experience focusing on medium- and high-voltage power system design.
• Experience preparing electrical construction drawings, specifications, submittal reviews, and construction administration.

Responsibilities

• Design medium- and high-voltage power distribution and management systems for renewable energy projects (solar, wind, BESS, EV charging, microgrids).
• Prepare specs, calculations, drawings, and full construction packages for 15–200 kV systems.
• Conduct QA/QC reviews to ensure compliance with standards.
• Provide technical support to field personnel for HV collection systems and substations.
• Perform electrical studies (short-circuit, arc flash, load flow, etc.).
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams across offices.
• Participate in project management tasks and client meetings.
• Mentor engineering and design personnel in the Power Market team.
