Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering required.
• PE licensure or ability to obtain within six months is required.
• Minimum 5 years of consulting experience in medium- and high-voltage power system design.
• Experience preparing electrical construction drawings, specs, submittal reviews, and construction administration.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills; able to brief engineers, clients, and stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Design medium- and high-voltage power distribution and management systems for renewable energy projects (solar, wind, BESS, EV charging, microgrids).
• Prepare specifications, calculations, drawings, and full construction packages for 15–200 kV systems.
• Perform QA/QC reviews to ensure compliance with standards.
• Provide technical support to field personnel for MV/HV facilities up to 200 kV.
• Perform electrical studies (short-circuit, arc flash, load flow, relay coordination, etc.).
• Collaborate with civil/structural teams and coordinate with offices remotely.
• Conduct feasibility and design studies; prepare utility master plan reports.
• Participate in project management activities; lead design coordination and reviews.
• Mentor engineers and designers within the Power Market team.
• Travel occasionally for client meetings and field reviews; willing to work extended hours as needed.
• Contribute to other duties as assigned by market principals and project managers.
