Volt is hiring a Human Resources Specialist in Hoffman Estates, IL to serve as the first contact for HRIS inquiries and policies. The role supports onboarding in UKG, backgrounds checks, and ongoing HR guidance.

Ideal candidates have strong communication, HR law knowledge, and the ability to multitask while maintaining confidentiality. This is a full-time on-site position with comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and HRIS systems (UKG & Workday).
• Knowledge of HR laws, regulations, and best practices.
• Experience with background checks and drug testing processes required.
• High attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality.
• Ability to work independently, multi-task, and prioritize.

Responsibilities

Pay Rate: $21.00 - $23.00 per hour

*Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
