Job summary

Volt is immediately hiring for Shipping & Receiving Associates in Irvine, Placentia, Foothill Ranch, and Lake Forest CA. This is a Full-Time Temp-to-Hire opportunity with day shifts and competitive $18–$23+ hourly pay depending on experience.

Responsibilities include packing, labeling, verifying deliveries, cycle counts, maintaining a clean receiving area, and operating a forklift. Experience with FEDEX/UPS ERP systems is required.

Qualifications

• High School graduate or equivalent.
• Previous warehouse or shipping & receiving experience.
• Forklift experience.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to lift and move materials as needed.

Job Description

Day to Day Responsibilities

• Warehouse Experience in Shipping and Receiving product
• Package and crate parts for shipments to protect from shipping & handling damage.
• Strong experience with FEDEX and UPS Shipping ERP systems
• Verify deliveries against purchase orders and packing slips
• Perform cycle counts (physical count and reconciliation of variances)
• Label and organize inventory in designated location
• Inspect materials for damage, defects, or shortages
• Maintain a clean and organized receiving area
• Operate forklift to move product within the warehouse
• Coordinate with warehouse and production teams to ensure timely material flow

This is a Full-Time Temp-to-Hire Opportunity

Required Skills & Qualifications

Schedule

• Monday to Friday 6am-2:30pm
• Monday to Friday 7am-3:30pm
• Monday to Friday 7:30am-4pm

Pay Rate

Pay Rate: $18-23+ per hour DOE
*Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
