Job summary

Volt is hiring a Manufacturing Engineer/Analyst for its San Diego, CA site. This full-time, 1-year temp role offers DOE compensation and opportunities for extension or temp-to-hire. You will analyze manufacturing processes, support cost and quality data, drive process improvements, and ensure safety and environmental compliance.

Onsite schedule is Mon-Fri, 8am-5pm, with potential early start. A Bachelor's degree in engineering is required, with strong data analytics skills and experience in

Volt is immediately hiring a Manufacturing Engineer/Analyst in Kearny Mesa, CA.

As a Manufacturing Engineer, you will:

• Assists with technical analysis of manufacturing processes in all aspects of production, costs, quality, compliance to safety guidelines, and environmental requirements for manufacturing specifically software development to eliminate waste in assembly process.
• Participating in identifying and implementing enhancements and modifications to equipment and processes.
• Executing manufacturing tasks and processes according to defined SOPs and accurately documenting data.
• Identifying issues related to manufacturing processes and implementing process improvements.
• Providing engineering support on planning, development, operation, and maintenance of equipment, processes, or facilities.

This is a full-time, 1-year temp, possible temp to hire.

Schedule: Monday - Friday - 8am - 5pm, working onsite in San Diego. May have flexible to start the day earlier.

The ideal candidate will have:

• Completed Bachelors degree in Engineering related field
• Strong data analysis skills to analyze, costs, quality and production data
• Process improvement experience ideal
• Change control experience
• Knowledge of electrical, mechanical equipment

Pay Rate*: $78,000 to $80,000 Per Year DOE
