Connexus Energy is seeking an HR Specialist. This role will work collaboratively to contribute to the achievement of the Human Resources Department by supporting functional areas including recruiting, employment administration, compensation, benefits, reporting, compliance, and more. This role will provide comprehensive administrative support in a confidential, accurate, and timely manner. This role will provide customer service to employees and external customers.

Location:

Work for this position can be performed both on-site at our campus located at 14601 Ramsey Blvd, Ramsey, MN 55303, and from your local home office as duties require. While this position is designated as a hybrid role, based on current policy, hires must reside in or relocate within commuting distance to our office in Ramsey, MN.

Compensation

The anticipated hiring range for this role is between $25.38 to $33.32 per hour. The final compensation offered is based on the selected candidate’s qualifications, experience and skill level. In addition, this position is eligible for an annual bonus with a target payout of 5% of annual earnings based on company performance.

In This Position You Will

  • Support recruiting efforts and onboarding of new employees to ensure staffing needs are met. This will include creating job requisitions, scheduling interviews, and coordinating administration of offer and onboarding activities.
  • Assist in the accurate administration of employment and compensation changes as well as performance management, while meeting applicable payroll processing deadlines.
  • Support Connexus Energy’s benefit programs by providing administration support and accurate record keeping ensuring employee benefit elections operate as expected.
  • Fulfill reporting for the department and companywide reporting requests in a timely manner and make sure regulatory compliance is met.
  • Provide general administrative support to HR team.

Need To Have

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Three or more years of work experience in a professional environment.
  • Excellent customer services skills.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Honesty and ethical behavior.

Nice To Have

  • Two or more years of education with a focus in Human Resources, or comparable combination of education and experience.
  • Experience with an HRIS software, preferably ADP Workforce Now.
  • Knowledge of HR concepts, principles, and practices.
