The pay range per hour is $20.19 - $36.35.

Role in Distribution and Receive Centers involves being on the front lines of getting product to the guest quickly—a critical function within Logistics. Whether focusing on regional or upstream distribution centers, target.com fulfillment centers, or import warehouses, you’ll positively impact thousands of team members and guests worldwide. Responsibilities include Distribution Center Operations, Quality Management, and overall Distribution Center Productivity, continually analyzing and improving our processes.

Supporting Target’s Global Supply Chain and Logistics, Human Resources plays a vital role in building the best teams, infusing work with Target’s retail brand through continuous innovation. As a Senior Human Resource Specialist, you’ll provide technical and administrative support to the HR team, maintaining employee records, managing employment orientation, benefits, cyclical processes, workers' compensation, payroll, and record-keeping. You’ll interact with team members at various organizational levels and external candidates, supporting staffing, ensuring compliance with employment regulations, and executing training programs.

You will assist with answering employee questions, escalating concerns, and may be assigned special projects like process coordination and new initiatives. Your work will contribute to the overall success of the distribution center. As a key strategic partner, you’ll guide leadership and support team members to foster a positive experience during organizational change and help build teams that meet business goals.

About you:

Schedule: Monday-Friday 12:00 pm - 8:00 pm; Sunday rotation.

  • High school diploma or equivalent experience.
  • 1+ years of administrative experience.
  • Positive, respectful attitude, capable of working independently and in a team.
  • Proficient in Word, Excel, O365, and other computer systems.
  • Strong customer service and communication skills, capable of interacting at all organizational levels.
  • Ability to anticipate problems, prioritize, catch errors, and complete tasks accurately and timely.
  • Ability to handle confidential information appropriately.
  • Proactive, fair decision-making aligned with company values.
  • Flexible, adaptable team player capable of multitasking.
