Job summary

Qualifications

  • Must have at least a bachelor’s degree with 1 year of HR experience or a master’s degree with 1 year of HR experience.
  • HR compliance knowledge with federal/state regulations.
  • Experience in full-cycle recruitment and process optimization.

Job Summary

The Human Resources Recruiter Temporary is responsible for supporting full-cycle talent acquisition efforts, focusing on efficiently managing a high volume of requisitions while ensuring compliance with federal and state regulations. This role collaborates with internal stakeholders and external partners to meet recruitment goals and optimize hiring processes under supervision.

Responsibilities
  • Execute all phases of recruitment including sourcing, screening, interviewing, and onboarding with emphasis on advancing a high volume of requisitions.
  • Implement strategies to attract top talent and maintain a positive candidate experience.
  • Collaborate with external advertisers to manage job postings across relevant platforms.
  • Work with hiring managers to understand recruitment needs and align with organizational objectives.
  • Coordinate and schedule interviews efficiently across multiple requisitions.
  • Maintain consistent communication with candidates and hiring managers regarding recruitment status and next steps.
  • Manage job requisitions in Workday, ensuring timely and accurate updates.
  • Support offer management and initiate pre-employment processes such as background checks.
  • Utilize organizational technology tools including Workday and Microsoft 365 suite to manage workflows and records.
  • Maintain daily recruitment tracking lists and present regular status reports.
  • Support targeted social media campaigns with the Communications team for hard-to-fill roles.
  • Adhere strictly to recruitment SOPs and HR compliance requirements.
  • Identify and communicate opportunities to improve recruitment efficiency.
  • Represent HR at agency events to support employer branding and community engagement.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Required Skills & Certifications
  • Bachelor's degree plus 1 year of professional experience in human resources management, or
  • Master's degree in HR, industrial/organizational psychology, public administration, sociology, psychology, or related field plus 1 year of professional HR experience, or
  • Equivalent combination of education and experience with relevant HR management duties such as job analysis, recruitment, or payroll administration.
  • Knowledge of HR compliance and federal/state regulations.
Preferred Skills & Certifications
  • Proven experience in full-cycle recruitment with a focus on process optimization.
  • Expertise with recruitment technologies including applicant tracking systems like Workday and Microsoft 365 applications.
  • Certifications such as PHR, SPHR, SHRM-CP, or SHRM-SCP.
Special Considerations
  • Strict adherence to recruitment standard operating procedures and compliance requirements.
  • Representation of HR at agency events as assigned.
Scheduling
  • Full-time, in-office position.
  • Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
