A growing health and wellness organization is looking for an experienced and people-focused HR Manager to help shape the employee experience and support a growing team. This person will serve as a trusted resource for employees and managers, providing guidance around performance, workplace concerns, communication, and professional development. The HR Manager will also help managers navigate feedback and challenging conversations, support employee engagement and recognition initiatives, and maintain a strong pulse on workplace culture and morale. This role will have meaningful visibility across the organization and will help foster a supportive, collaborative, and high-performing environment.

This person will oversee key moments throughout the employee lifecycle, from recruiting and onboarding through ongoing development and performance management. Responsibilities will include managing full-cycle recruitment, partnering with leaders on hiring needs, creating a thoughtful onboarding experience, and overseeing performance review processes and development initiatives. The role will also support company culture through employee programs, recognition, and organizational events, while coordinating with internal partners and outside vendors as needed. Strong judgment, discretion, communication skills, and the ability to build trusted relationships across teams will be essential.

In addition to the people-facing responsibilities, this role will own important HR operations, including payroll coordination, time and PTO audits, employee records, benefits communication, and HR systems. The HR Manager will work closely with leadership and the company's PEO to ensure processes are accurate, timely, and well documented, while continuously looking for opportunities to simplify and automate administrative work. The ideal candidate is highly organized, proactive, comfortable working independently, and excited by the opportunity to combine hands-on HR execution with process improvement and people strategy in a dynamic health and wellness environment. Must have experience processing payroll.
