Human Resources Generalist II (Experienced Level) – Scottsboro, AL (on-site)
Salary/Full-Time, Full-time (40 hours per week)
Role Summary
This role is an experienced HR professional responsible for independently managing core HR processes and advising leaders on people-related matters. The HR Generalist II partners with operational leadership to support employee relations, performance management, and consistent team member experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle recruiting processes including job postings, candidate communication, and hiring coordination
- Lead onboarding programs and continuously improve the new hire experience
- Maintain HR systems and ensure accuracy and compliance of employee records
- Serve as a primary resource for team members by interpreting policies, benefits, and procedures
- Advise and support leaders on employee relations matters, including coaching, documentation, and issue resolution
- Support and guide performance management processes, including tracking reviews and advising on feedback practices
- Ensure HR practices align with company policies and applicable employment laws
- Partner with leaders to support staffing plans, workforce needs, and team development
- Assist with payroll and timekeeping processes and resolve discrepancies
- Maintain strict confidentiality of employee information

Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or a related field is preferred, or equivalent practical experience
- 3–5+ years of HR experience
- Experience handling employee relations issues with minimal supervision
- Strong working knowledge of HR policies, practices, and employment laws
- Ability to coach and influence leaders
- Strong problem‑solving and communication skills
Physical Requirements
- Ability to sit or stand for extended periods
- Light to moderate lifting may be required
