Human Resources Generalist / Talent Acquisition Specialist
Location: Hybrid (3 Days Onsite, 2 Days Remote)
Position Overview:
We are seeking a dynamic Human Resources Generalist / Talent Acquisition Specialist to serve as the organization’s primary recruiting professional while providing broad HR support across the employee lifecycle. Approximately 80% of this role will focus on talent acquisition, with the remaining 20% dedicated to HR generalist functions including employee relations, compliance, onboarding, performance management, and HR administration.
This individual will take ownership of recruiting efforts across corporate, operational, and warehouse functions while partnering closely with leadership to drive employee engagement, workforce planning, and organizational growth.
Key Responsibilities:
Talent Acquisition (80%)
- Manage the full-cycle recruitment process from requisition intake through onboarding
- Support hiring needs across corporate, operational, and warehouse functions
- Partner with hiring managers to develop recruiting strategies and identify talent needs
- Source, screen, interview, and manage candidates throughout the hiring process
- Create and maintain job postings across multiple recruiting platforms
- Leverage LinkedIn Recruiter and other sourcing tools to identify and engage top talent
- Coordinate candidate communications, interviews, and hiring activities
- Prepare and extend employment offers
- Facilitate pre-employment and onboarding processes
- Deliver an exceptional candidate experience throughout the recruitment lifecycle
- Track recruiting metrics and provide updates to leadership
Human Resources Generalist Functions (20%)
- Coordinate employee onboarding and orientation programs
- Support employee relations matters and provide guidance to managers and team members
- Maintain employee records and HR documentation
- Assist with performance management and employee development initiatives
- Administer HR policies, procedures, and best practices
- Support employee engagement, retention, and recognition programs
- Partner with leadership on day-to-day HR initiatives and workforce planning
- Assist with employee communications and organizational programs
Compliance & HR Administration
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations
- Maintain HR reports, workforce metrics, and employee data
- Assist with audits and regulatory reporting requirements
- Track and maintain HR records using Excel and internal HR systems
- Support policy development, implementation, and updates
- Ensure HR practices align with company policies and legal requirements
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field preferred
- 4+ years of Human Resources experience with significant recruiting responsibilities
- Proven experience managing full-cycle recruitment in a high-volume environment
- Experience hiring exempt and non-exempt employees
- Background in consumer goods, manufacturing, distribution, pharmaceutical, skincare, or a related industry preferred
- Strong knowledge of employment law, HR compliance, and employee relations
- Experience with LinkedIn Recruiter, Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS), and Microsoft Excel
- Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills
- Strong ability to prioritize multiple projects and manage competing deadlines
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and collaboratively
- Competitive salary of $90,000
