Job summary

Venteon is seeking an HR Generalist to support HR activities within a fast-paced manufacturing environment, partnering with plant leadership and employees on employee relations, recruiting, benefits, compliance and administration.

The role covers day-to-day HR support for hourly and salaried staff, investigations, onboarding, orientation, HRIS records, and compliance tasks, with emphasis on strong communication and problem solving across all levels.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business or related field preferred.
• 3+ years HR Generalist or similar HR experience.
• Experience supporting hourly and salaried employees.
• Manufacturing or plant HR experience strongly preferred.
• Ability to work effectively with employees and leadership at all levels.

Responsibilities

• Support recruiting, interviewing, hiring and onboarding activities
• Coordinate new employee orientation
• Administer FMLA, leaves of absence and employee benefit inquiries
• Maintain employee records and HR system information
• Support workforce changes including transfers, layoffs and recalls
• Assist with HR policies, procedures and employee handbook administration
• Support EEO, affirmative action and other employment compliance requirements
• Coordinate employee training and development activities
• Prepare recurring HR reports and workforce information
• Partner with plant managers and supervisors on employee and HR‑related matters
• Support employee engagement programs and plant events
