Human Resources Generalist – Manufacturing

What You'll Do

• Be the visible HR presence on the production floor — walk the plant, connect with employees, and build trust
• Serve as the first point of contact for employee issues, questions, and HR support
• Manage day-to-day HR operations including employee relations, coaching supervisors, attendance, and leaves (FMLA, LOA, etc.)
• Support recruitment for manufacturing, technical, and support roles
• Coordinate onboarding, training, safety orientations, and compliance programs
• Maintain accurate HRIS records, personnel files, and documentation
• Provide backup payroll support during peak periods or absences

What You Bring

• 2–3 years of HR experience, ideally in manufacturing or industrial settings
• Strong knowledge of HR best practices and employment laws
• Experience supporting payroll processes (ADP, Paycom, Paychex, etc.)
• Excellent communication, problem-solving, and relationship-building skills
• Comfort working in a 24-hour, fast-paced, rapidly growing production environment
• Ability to walk the plant regularly and engage with employees
• Manufacturing facility with PPE requirements, machinery, and active production lines
• Regular walking and visibility on the plant floor
