Job summary

DaBella seeks a Human Resources Generalist in Austin, TX to partner with General Managers and staff on day-to-day HR matters. You will advise on policies, coach managers on performance, conduct investigations, and ensure consistent HR practices across locations.

You will manage onboarding/offboarding, maintain records, and analyze HR data to propose improvements. Strong communication, confidentiality, and organizational skills are essential for this onsite role.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in HR, Business Administration or a related field preferred.
  • Minimum of 2 years of HR experience.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Experience with HRIS platforms (e.g., Workday).
  • SHRM-CP or aPHR certification preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary HR advisor to employees and General Managers across assigned locations.
  • Interpret and apply HR policies, programs, and processes to employee and workplace matters.
  • Coach managers on performance, attendance, corrective action, and employee relations.
  • Conduct investigations, document findings, and recommend appropriate resolutions.
  • Identify and escalate complex, high-risk, or legally sensitive HR concerns.
  • Manage HR operations, including onboarding, offboarding, records, and documentation.
  • Analyze HR data and workforce trends to identify concerns and recommend solutions.
  • Partner with General Managers on workforce decisions and employee matters.
  • Support employee engagement, HR programs, policy updates, training, and initiatives.
  • Maintain confidentiality, accurate records, and organized HR tracking.
  • Partner with the HR team on projects, process improvements, and program rollouts.

The Human Resources Generalist serves as a primary HR contact for General Managers and employees, providing day-to-day guidance and support across a broad range of HR matters. This role is responsible for employee relations, performance management, workplace investigations, policy interpretation, and general HR support. Operates with general oversight, exercising independent judgment in day-to-day employee relations and performance matters within scope of authority.The HR Generalist works closely with General Managers to address employee concerns, resolve workplace issues, and ensure HR policies and practices are applied consistently across the organization.
