Overview

At Mesquite Specialty Hospital, we provide critical care services to patients recovering from serious illnesses or injuries and have earned The Joint Commission's Respiratory Failure Certification. Our patients often require additional critical care services for complex conditions such as trauma, infectious diseases, wound healing, cardiovascular disease, stroke, amputation, and ventilator weaning. Located in the Dallas/Ft. Worth metroplex, our 40-bed hospital offers specialized treatment throughout the surrounding communities.

We are seeking a Human Resources Coordinator to join our team of passionate patient caregivers!

Job Summary
  • Processes new hires through pre-employment and onboarding
  • Coordinates new hire and annual orientations
  • Manages payroll duties
  • Handles personnel file management
  • Assists with employee engagement efforts

Qualifications
Required Skills:
  • Minimum three (3) years of Human Resources experience
  • Associate degree or higher in Human Resources or related field
  • Knowledge of HR, State and Federal laws; Joint Commission knowledge preferred
  • SHRM-CP or PHR preferred
Additional Skills:
  • Knowledge of personnel recruitment, training, compensation, benefits, labor relations, and personnel systems
  • Proficiency in MS Office, especially Outlook and Excel
  • Strong organizational, communication, and multitasking skills
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively
Responsibilities
