Arden Park Post Acute in Sacramento, CA is seeking a highly organized HR / Accounts Payable / Payroll Specialist to support leadership and ensure accurate processing across a fast-paced healthcare environment. This full-time role combines HR onboarding, payroll, AP, and administrative tasks while upholding confidentiality and compliance.

You will coordinate onboarding, maintain records, process timecards, code vendor invoices, and assist with month-end close while contributing to a supportive

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of experience in Human Resources, Payroll, Accounts Payable, or related administrative roles.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Excel and Outlook.
• Preferred experience in healthcare or post-acute settings and knowledge of payroll systems or HRIS.

Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities

Human Resources

• Coordinate employee onboarding and orientation processes
• Maintain employee records and personnel files

• Monitor compliance with wage and hour regulations

Accounts Payable

• Review, code, and process vendor invoices
• Maintain accurate AP records and filing systems
• Reconcile statements and assist with payment processing
• Communicate with vendors regarding account inquiries
• Support month-end closing activities and reporting

Administrative Support

• Answer employee and vendor inquiries professionally
• Maintain confidentiality of sensitive information
• Assist department leaders with special projects as needed
• Support daily office operations and facility administration

Qualifications

Required:

• Minimum 2 years of experience in Human Resources, Payroll, Accounts Payable, or related administrative roles
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Excel and Outlook
• Professional communication and customer service skills
• Ability to maintain strict confidentiality

Preferred:

• Experience in a skilled nursing facility, healthcare, or post-acute setting
• Knowledge of payroll systems and HRIS platforms
• Accounts Payable and payroll processing experience
• Familiarity with California labor laws and employment practices
