Job summary

Beacon Hill Staffing Group is seeking a bilingual HR Generalist for an on-site role in our manufacturing client environment. The ideal candidate will support employee relations, onboarding, recruiting, benefits, and safety initiatives while engaging with employees on the production floor.

The role requires English/Spanish bilingual capabilities, strong HR generalist or coordinator background, and the ability to work in a fast-paced facility with 24/7 considerations.

Qualifications

• Bilingual English/Spanish required or preferred.
• HR Generalist or HR Coordinator experience.
• Experience supporting employee relations and onboarding.
• Experience in a manufacturing environment is highly desired.
• Experience in high-volume hourly settings is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Serve as primary HR contact for employees and respond to day-to-day HR questions.
• Support employee relations, concerns, escalation, and supervisor support.
• Facilitate new-hire orientation and onboarding for permanent and temporary employees.
• Coordinate recruiting and staffing for hourly, temporary, non-exempt and exempt roles.
• Manage relationships with temporary staffing partners and support temp-to-hire processes.
• Follow up on onboarding, engagement, assimilation, and overall employee experience.
• Communicate benefits information, updates, and resources to employees.
• Coordinate workers' compensation matters and maintain documentation.
• Process employee changes including hires, terminations, changes, and compensation updates.
• Maintain accurate HR records to support compliance.
• Assist with hourly wage studies and market adjustments.
• Partner with plant leadership to promote positive employee relations and culture.
• Assist with EHS initiatives, safety training, audits, and communications.
• Maintain a visible presence on the production floor while following PPE guidelines.

HR Generalist

We are seeking a motivated and people-focused HR Generalist for our client, a global organization looking to add a hands-on HR professional to their team. The Bilingual (English/Spanish) HR Generalist will serve as a key day-to-day HR resource for employees, supporting a wide range of human resources functions including employee relations, recruiting, onboarding, temporary staffing, benefits, workers' compensation, compliance, and workplace safety. The ideal candidate is bilingual in English and Spanish, approachable, organized, and comfortable working directly with employees in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a primary HR point of contact for employees, responding to day-to-day HR questions and escalating more complex matters as appropriate.
• Support employee relations, including employee concerns, conflict resolution, issue escalation, and supervisor support.
• Facilitate new-hire orientation and onboarding for permanent and temporary employees.
• Coordinate recruiting and staffing efforts for hourly, temporary, non-exempt, and exempt positions.
• Manage relationships with temporary staffing partners and support a temp-to-hire workforce.
• Follow up with new employees regarding onboarding, engagement, assimilation, and their overall employee experience.
• Communicate benefits information, updates, and resources to employees.
• Coordinate workers' compensation matters and maintain appropriate documentation.

Qualifications

• Bilingual in English and Spanish required.
• HR Generalist experience or strong HR Coordinator experience with the interest and ability to take on broader HR responsibilities.
• Experience supporting employee relations and addressing employee questions and concerns professionally.
• Strong conflict-resolution, communication, and de-escalation skills.
• Comfortable working 100% onsite within a manufacturing environment.
• Flexibility to occasionally support employees working early-morning or late-night shifts within a 24/7 operation.
• Comfortable regularly walking a production floor and wearing required PPE.
• Associate degree or an equivalent combination of education and relevant HR experience required; Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Intermediate proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
• Previous experience in manufacturing, distribution, warehouse, packaging, food production, or another high-volume hourly environment is strongly preferred.
• Experience with hourly recruiting, temporary staffing vendors, workers' compensation, benefits, compliance, or EHS/safety initiatives is a plus.
