Beacon Hill Staffing Group seeks an HR Generalist at a manufacturing facility to support staffing, onboarding, employee relations, benefits administration, compliance, compensation, safety initiatives, and workforce engagement. You will partner with plant leadership to manage recruitment for hourly, salaried, and temporary roles and handle onboarding activities.

• 5+ years HR Generalist experience.
• Associate degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Experience handling employee relations, recruiting, onboarding, and HR administration.
• Strong knowledge of employment laws and HR best practices.

Responsabilités

• Partner with plant leadership to determine staffing needs and recruit hourly, salaried, and temporary employees.
• Serve as a trusted resource for employees and supervisors on workplace concerns and investigations.
• Process employee lifecycle transactions including hiring, promotions, transfers, terminations, and compensation changes.
• Support compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and coordinate workers' compensation claims.
• Promote workplace safety and support EHS initiatives across shifts.
• Facilitate onboarding and training programs for new hires and ongoing development.

The HR Generalist is responsible for supporting all day-to-day human resources functions at a manufacturing facility. This role serves as a key business partner to plant leadership, supporting recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, benefits administration, compliance, compensation, safety initiatives, and workforce engagement. The ideal candidate will be proactive, hands-on, and comfortable working directly with employees and leaders in a fast-paced production environment.

Key Responsibilities

Talent Acquisition and Workforce Planning

• Partner with plant leadership to determine staffing needs.
• Manage recruitment efforts for hourly, salaried, and temporary employees.
• Oversee relationships with staffing agencies and manage temporary workforce programs.
• Coordinate interviewing, hiring, and onboarding activities.

Employee Relations and Engagement

• Serve as a trusted resource for employees and supervisors regarding workplace concerns.
• Investigate, address, and elevate employee issues as appropriate.
• Foster a positive and engaged workplace culture.
• Support organizational communication and employee engagement initiatives.

HR Administration

• Process employee lifecycle transactions including hiring, terminations, promotions, transfers, and compensation changes.
• Maintain accurate employee records and documentation.
• Assist with wage studies and market analysis to ensure competitive compensation practices.
• Communicate benefits information and changes to employees.

Compliance and Risk Management

• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.
• Maintain required HR records and documentation.
• Coordinate workers' compensation claims and return-to-work processes.
• Support audits and compliance reviews as needed.

Safety and Environmental Health (EHS)

• Partner with leadership to promote a strong culture of workplace safety.
• Assist with safety training initiatives for employees and supervisors.
• Participate in safety audits and hazard identification efforts.
• Support implementation of safety programs, communications, and corrective actions.

Onboarding and Employee Development

• Facilitate new hire orientation and onboarding programs.
• Ensure successful integration and engagement of new employees.
• Support training initiatives and workforce development programs.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of HR Generalist experience.
• Associate degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Experience handling employee relations, recruiting, onboarding, and HR administration.
• Strong knowledge of employment laws and HR best practices.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
• Excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred

• Bachelor's degree.
• Manufacturing or industrial environment experience.
• Experience supporting a multi-shift workforce.

Additional Requirements

• Ability to work flexible hours to interact with employees across all shifts.
• Comfortable working on the manufacturing floor and wearing required personal protective equipment (PPE).
• Strong conflict resolution and de-escalation skills.
• Ability to respond effectively in urgent or emergency situations while maintaining professionalism and composure.
