The Franklin Johnston Group is seeking an Assistant Community Manager in Richmond, VA, with HUD/LIHTC experience to support the Community Manager and cover in their absence. The role requires managing leasing, training staff, and maintaining office operations.

You will handle rent postings, basic bookkeeping, and ensure compliance with Fair Housing and company policies while upholding professional conduct and on-site efficiency.

Qualifikationen

• High school diploma or GED, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Fair Housing Certification required within 1 day of hire.
• Preventing Sexual Harassment, Workplace Harassment and Drug Free Workplace courses must be completed within 7 days of hire.
• Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence and memos; write simple correspondence.

Aufgaben

• Report, maintain and submit administrative forms, files and reports; post rent to MRI; perform bookkeeping as needed.
• Assist Community Manager with orientation, training and scheduling of leasing/office staff.
• Inspect models, office and vacant units; ensure on-site office is organized and files maintained.
• Maintain awareness of the community's curb appeal and pricing/leases of competitors.
• Lease to qualified prospects; assist with lease renewals and follow-up with residents.
• Manage inventory and ordering of office supplies and equipment; uphold professional appearance.
