Job summary

The Franklin Group is seeking a Community Manager (LIHTC) in Washington, DC. This role oversees the operational and financial performance of a LIHTC property, ensuring revenue, leasing, and compliance targets are met by coordinating office and maintenance teams.

The candidate will lead leasing activities, supervise staff, enforce Fair Housing guidelines, and manage resident services, inspections, and safety programs while driving superior resident satisfaction and profitability.

Qualifications

• LIHTC knowledge and HUD compliance required.
• Experience with LIHTC programs and resident certifications.
• Knowledge of Fair Housing laws and property regulations.

Responsibilities

• Operate the community within the approved budget and financial guidelines.
• Ensure rent collection and timely postings; issue notices and evictions as needed.
• Supervise office staff and maintenance supervisor; oversee leasing and staff performance.
• Prepare and analyze leasing trends, financial performance, and occupancy reports.
• Implement and maintain a resident retention program and safety policies.
