Job summary

UPS is seeking a competent supervisor to oversee Package Handlers, train and develop workgroups, and uphold safety, productivity, and attendance standards. The role demands leadership that fosters collaboration and continuous improvement across all levels of the organization.

The incumbent will set high standards for accuracy, customer service, and organization while maintaining effective communication and supporting staff development in a fast-paced warehouse environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or international equivalent preferred.
• Management experience preferred.
• Must be able to lift 70 lbs./32 kgs.

Responsibilities

• Ensure employees adhere to safety policies and procedures in all times, complying with department, station, corporate and OSHA requirements.
• Manage department resources to maximize output, accuracy, and efficiency.
• Establish and promote a positive, team-oriented work environment with active communication and cooperation.
• Implement personal development plans for department personnel.
• Ensure training, orientation, materials and information are provided, with regular evaluations and coaching.
• Ensure ongoing adherence to safety policies and procedures.
