Job summary

UPS is seeking a supervisor to lead Package Handlers, providing training, development, and accountability for safety, production, and attendance. The role emphasizes high standards for accuracy, customer service, organization, and inter-department cooperation to improve overall performance.

The candidate will establish a positive, team-oriented environment, implement development plans, and ensure ongoing safety training and orientation for all department staff, driving continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Must be a U.S. citizen or eligible to work in the U.S.
• Ability to lift 70 lbs (32 kg)
• Availability to work flexible shift hours, up to 5 days per week
• Bachelor's Degree or International equivalent required

Responsibilities

• Supervise Package Handlers and train, develop, and hold workgroups accountable for safety, production and attendance.
• Set and maintain high standards for productivity, accuracy, customer service, organization, communication, cooperation and safety.
• Lead a positive, team-oriented environment with proactive communication across departments.
• Provide personal development plans and regular evaluations and coaching for department personnel.
