Job summary

UPS in the United States is seeking a Package Supervisor to oversee package handlers, train staff, and maintain safety, production and attendance standards. The role emphasizes leadership, communication and continuous improvement across departments.

The supervisor will ensure policy compliance, drive productivity, and develop personnel through orientation, coaching, and performance evaluations in a fast-paced warehouse setting.

Qualifications

• Ability to lift 70 lbs./32 kgs.
• Availability to work flexible shift hours, up to 5 days per week
• Strong oral and written communication skills
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office
• Bachelor's Degree or International equivalent - Preferred; management experience - Preferred

Responsibilities

• Supervises package handlers and trains, develops, and holds workgroups responsible for safety, production and attendance.
• Sets and maintains high standards for productivity, accuracy, customer service and safety.
• Leads and fosters a positive, team-oriented work environment with proactive communication.
• Ensures safety policies are followed in all activities and provides coaching for growth.
