Job summary

UPS seeks a supervisory leader to oversee Package Handlers, developing and guiding workgroups to meet safety, production, and attendance standards. The role demands maintaining high productivity, accuracy, and customer service across the department.

Leaders will drive team growth, coach staff, and ensure compliance with OSHA and corporate policies while fostering a positive work environment and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or international equivalent; management experience preferred.
• Ability to lift 70 lbs and work flexible shifts.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
• Able to thrive in a fast-paced warehouse setting.

Responsibilities

• Ensure safety policies and procedures are followed at all times, in compliance with OSHA and company requirements.
• Manage department resources for maximum output, accuracy and efficiency.
• Promote a positive, team-oriented environment with proactive communication and inter-departmental cooperation.
• Implement employee development plans to support professional growth.
• Provide orientation, training, materials, evaluations, and coaching to support ongoing development.
• Ensure adherence to safety policies at all times.
