Job summary

Jones Lang LaSalle Incorporated is hiring an HSSE Specialist for the Bradley, IL facility to lead health, safety, security and environmental excellence. You will develop and implement HSSE management systems, collaborate with site leadership, and drive regulatory compliance and continuous improvement across operations.

You will oversee incident investigations, training programs, and contractor qualifications while maintaining strong relationships with client HSSE teams.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of hands-on experience with HSSE compliance and management systems in facility operations environments.
• Comprehensive knowledge of Environmental, Occupational Health, and Safety regulations (OSHA, EPA, DOT, and related standards).
• Demonstrated ability to conduct thorough safety inspections, hazard evaluations, and accident investigations using root cause analysis methodologies.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills with proven ability to influence and collaborate across all organizational levels.

Responsibilities

• Lead HSSE management systems and compliance programs at the Client site, working closely with JLL Site Team and Life Sciences HSSE team to establish, track, and achieve performance goals.
• Monitor HSSE metrics and KPIs, developing and implementing strategic plans to meet targets while identifying opportunities for continuous improvement.
• Conduct comprehensive safety inspections, evaluate hazards within JLL's scope, and manage high-risk work situations to ensure safe working conditions.
• Oversee HSSE documentation, accident investigations with root cause analysis, and ensure timely incident reporting with corrective actions.
• Direct HSSE Committees, coordinate training programs, and implement qualification programs for service partners at Client locations.
