Job summary

Jones Lang LaSalle (JLL) in Austin, TX is seeking an experienced HSSE Manager to lead the development and implementation of safety, health, and environmental programs at client sites.

You will guide HSSE performance, coordinate training, manage inspections, and investigate incidents, ensuring compliance with regulations and client expectations. This role requires collaboration with the JLL site team and external partners to foster a strong HSSE culture.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in safety, health or related field is required.
• Strong knowledge of environmental, health and safety regulations.
• 5+ years in HSSE compliance and management systems in facilities.
• Experience working with subcontractors and mutual safety objectives.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Proficient in basic word processing and database applications.
• Able to travel 15–25%.
• Professional HSSE credentials (OHST/ASP/CSP) preferred.
• HSSE experience with LOTO, electrical, confined spaces, working at height and lab safety.
• US work authorization without sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Lead development and implementation of HSSE management systems at client sites.
• Collaborate with JLL Site Team to set HSSE performance goals and track metrics.
• Develop and deliver HSSE training, inspections, and record retention policies.
• Conduct incident investigations and identify root causes; implement corrective actions.
• Coordinate with client HSSE teams to ensure regulatory and client requirements are met.
