Job summary

Jones Lang LaSalle Incorporated is seeking an HSSE Specialist to develop and manage environmental health and safety programs across our accounts. The role focuses on ensuring regulatory compliance and protecting employees and the environment from hazards.

You will lead audits, deliver targeted training, investigate incidents, and drive continuous improvement through HSSE metrics and stakeholder engagement. This position requires a strong safety mindset and the ability to influence across levels.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in environmental science, occupational safety and health, or a related field, or experience commensurate with the role.
• Certification preferred: CHST, ASP, CSP, CIH

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement environmental health and safety policies and procedures.
• Conduct comprehensive site audits and inspections, focusing on high-risk areas including Electrical Safety, Fall Protection, and Confined Space.
• Provide training on environmental health and safety topics to employees.
• Lead investigations for any near-misses or accidents, identifying root causes and implementing robust corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
• Maintain and analyze HSSE metrics, providing actionable insights to account leadership to drive continuous improvement.
• Work with management to identify and mitigate environmental health and safety risks.
• Ensure the account stays 100% compliant with all environmental health and safety regulations and JLL Global Standards.
• Act as a champion for JLL’s Global Safety Week and year-round safety initiatives, fostering high engagement through creative training and communication.
