Job summary

Jones Lang LaSalle (JLL) in Minneapolis, MN seeks an HSSE Manager to lead on-site safety and environmental programs. You will ensure compliance with JLL and client requirements, delivering training, inspections, incident response and hazard prevention across the account.

The role involves developing HSSE culture, maintaining training matrices, and coordinating investigations of serious events with root-cause analysis. This is a full-time on-site position with comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• 5+ years HSSE experience.
• Practical working knowledge of Health and Safety tools and techniques, ideally within a Facilities Management environment.
• Good Presentation and Communication.
• Strong organizational skills, information management proficiency and collaborative management style are needed.
• Evidence of strong interpersonal skills to establish credibility with colleagues and clients.
• Ability to identify root cause of problems.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Become the primary point of contact for HSSE requirements and activities for the business; communicate HSSE needs and results to account and business leaders.
• Lead development and refinement of JLL's HSSE culture and training programs on the account.
• Provide technical expertise, strategic leadership on HSSE regulatory compliance issues.
• Maintain account training matrix.
• Collaborate with JLL HSSE Life Sciences team to share best practices.
• Manage trend analysis to adjust management systems as necessary.
• Provide KPI and risk indicators to JLL and client teams.
• Ensure HSSE incidents are reviewed for trends and proper corrective actions.
• Lead or support investigations of serious safety events and share lessons learned.
• Support environmental compliance as specified in MSA/SOW.
• Maintain account HSSE procedures, documentation, and records.
• Support ISO 45001 & 14001 certification activities.
• Be the key client HSSE communications contact.
