Job summary

Rosendin Electric, Inc is seeking an HSE Manager II to oversee health, safety, and environmental practices across multiple project sites. The role emphasizes team leadership, plan development, hazard identification, and incident investigations to maintain a safe and productive work environment.

The position requires mentoring junior staff, coordinating with field leadership and subcontractors, and ensuring compliance with company and regulatory standards while applying NFPA 70E guidelines.

Qualifications

• 4-year related degree and 6 years related experience plus CHST certification
• Ability to spend 80% of working time on active construction sites
• Experience coaching, developing, and managing team members

Responsibilities

• Plans and assigns work for team members
• Monitors progress and performance of team and safety programs, taking corrective action as necessary
• Teaches, coaches, and develops direct reports and wider safety team members
• Identify, document, and recommend corrective actions for hazardous conditions; ensure timely resolution
• Participate in pre-construction meetings and develop site-specific safety plans
• Identify training needs and coordinate/deliver safety training
• Lead injury and incident investigations; conduct analysis and share lessons learned
• Lead in pre-task planning and job site safety meetings
• Collaborate with subcontractors to ensure understanding and compliance with REI safety standards
