Job summary

Accelera in Wisconsin seeks an HSE Manager to drive a zero-accident safety culture across two sites, Appleton and Neenah, with occasional North America field support. You will lead on-site safety programs, implement injury-prevention plans, ensure regulatory compliance, and manage risk with a proactive, data-driven approach while mentoring staff at all levels.

Qualifications

• Degree in Industrial Hygiene, Environmental Health, Occupational Safety, or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of progressive HSE experience driving organizational change.
• Industrial or manufacturing setting experience desired.
• Environmental compliance knowledge is a plus.
• Strong OSHA knowledge and regulatory familiarity.
• Excellent influencing skills across all levels.
• Proactive hazard identification to prevent incidents.
• Professional HSE certification is beneficial but not required.

Responsibilities

• Track and communicate vital safety data, such as lowering incident rates and improving metrics.
• Create and implement a behavior-focused HSE framework aligned with company goals.
• Ensure organization-wide compliance with internal safety protocols and external regulations.
• Mentor and partner with teammates to foster a culture of safety ownership.
• Perform risk evaluations and root-cause analysis to prevent incidents and drive improvements.
