Overview

A multi-site manufacturing organization is seeking an Environmental Health and Safety Manager to lead safety and environmental programs at its primary production plant, which employs around 150 non-union workers, while also supporting four smaller manufacturing/distribution facilities located in PA, KS, AZ, and FL. This is a sole-contributor EHS role with no direct reports, offering the opportunity to shape and strengthen a growing safety culture across multiple locations.

What you'll do

• Support the EHS function with a strong emphasis on safety and health for the primary production facility
• Travel to each of the four satellite facilities (PA, KS, AZ, FL) approximately once per year
• Manage EHS activities through an ISO-based platform and associated reporting tools
• Lead safety training, auditing, and workers compensation processes
• Administer EHSS systems and maintain related metrics and recordkeeping
• Continue strengthening the site's safety culture and employee engagement
• Roll out corporate EHS programs and systems in close collaboration with the corporate EHS team
• Maintain general environmental compliance across the site
