Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED with 2 years HR-related experience.
• Alternative: 1 year experience at HR Tech 2 or equivalent.
• Substitution of experience and certifications allowed year over year.

Responsibilities

• Process HR actions within the agency HRIS and payroll systems.
• Coordinate hiring processes and ensure required forms are completed.
• Enter and verify personnel transactions and payroll deductions.
• Explain benefits and HR policies to employees and managers.
• Respond to questions about payroll, tax, and benefits.
• Monitor payroll accuracy and resolve discrepancies.
• Maintain attendance, hours worked, and pay records.
