ITAC Solutions, LLC is hiring a Senior Workday Business Analyst – Payroll for an onsite role in Atlanta, GA. You will own payroll configuration and strategy for a large multi-state employer, collaborating across Payroll, Finance, HR, and technology leadership.

The role requires hands-on Workday Payroll (US) configuration and experience with multi-state tax setups, garnishments, and year-end (W-2) processes. Sponsorship is not offered; C2C is not an option.

Qualifications

• Hands-on Workday Payroll (US) configuration experience.
• Working knowledge of multi-state payroll tax setup, garnishments, and year-end (W-2) processes.
• Experience with Workday payroll-to-GL and third-party payroll integrations.
• Experience supporting parallel payroll testing during a release or implementation.

Responsibilities

• Gather and document payroll business requirements, translating them into Workday configuration and functional specifications.
• Configure and maintain pay components, earning/deduction codes, pay groups, and payroll calculation rules.
• Support payroll business processes including retro pay, off-cycle/on-demand payments, and payroll costing.
• Maintain payroll tax setup and compliance across multiple states, including W-2 year-end processes.
• Support payroll-to-GL and payroll-to-third-party integrations with vendors.

Our client is a large, multi-state distribution company building out a brand-new Workday HR technology team, and this seat owns the Payroll side of that build. You’ll be the go-to expert making sure a large, distributed workforce gets paid accurately and on time, working closely with Payroll, Finance, and HR leadership to configure and support Workday from the ground up. It’s a chance to be a foundational hire on a team that’s just getting started.

Compensation

• $115,000.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Gather and document payroll business requirements, translating them into Workday configuration and functional specifications.
• Configure and maintain pay components, earning/deduction codes, pay groups, and payroll calculation rules.
• Support payroll business processes including retro pay, off-cycle/on-demand payments, and payroll costing.
• Maintain payroll tax setup and compliance, including multi-state withholding, garnishments, and year-end processes.
• Support payroll-to-GL and payroll-to-third-party integrations, including tax filing vendors and banking files.
• Lead or support parallel and regression payroll testing during releases and upgrades.
• Triage and resolve production payroll issues in partnership with payroll operations and IT.

What You’ll Need to be Considered

• Hands-on Workday Payroll (US) configuration experience — pay components, earning/deduction codes, pay groups.
• Working knowledge of multi-state payroll tax setup, garnishments, and year-end (W-2) processes.
• Experience with Workday payroll-to-GL and third-party payroll integrations.
• Experience supporting parallel payroll testing during a release or implementation.
• Workday Pro U.S. Payroll Certification a plus.
