Job summary

Akiak Enterprise Services, LLC (AES) is seeking an HRIS Onboarding Specialist to drive end-to-end onboarding, HRIS configurations, and automation across onboarding stages. You will collaborate with IT, Payroll, and Workplace teams to ensure data accuracy and smooth new-hire experiences.

Ideal candidates bring 2–5 years in people operations with hands-on SharePoint and BambooHR experience, and a strong documentation mindset to support scalable processes.

Qualifications

• 2–5 years in people operations, HR coordination, or onboarding at a high-growth tech company, with hands-on HRIS experience using Microsoft SharePoint and BambooHR (preferred).
• Hands-on experience with SharePoint, Power Automate, and HRIS/ATS workflows.
• Documentation-first instincts; processes written and usable by others; create knowledge base articles.

Responsibilities

• Own onboarding end-to-end: pre-boarding, documentation, account setup, background checks, and handoffs to IT, Payroll, and Workplace.
• HRIS onboarding: configure workflows, data integrity, documentation processing, orientation planning, and integrations.
• Recruiting workflow & PD automation: streamline PD development, requisition approvals, and BambooHR ATS posting; leverage SharePoint/Power Automate for automation.
• BambooHR preboarding optimization: review, configure, and improve preboarding workflows and communications.
• HR operations: provide general administrative support, maintain files, update forms and lists.
• Automate tasks using AI to reduce repetitive workload and improve new-hire engagement.
