Job summary

AllianceHCM is seeking a detail-oriented HRIS Onboarding Specialist to lead the systemic configuration of core HR modules for onboarding clients. This role is the technical backbone of client HR system setup, ensuring configurations are accurate, compliant, and aligned with governance structures.

You will configure complex business rules, quality-test automated compliance workflows (I-9, E-Verify), and establish secure data structures while partnering with client HR teams to tailor onboarding

AllianceHCM is looking for a highly analytical, detail-oriented HRIS Onboarding Specialist to lead the systemic configuration of core HR modules for our onboarding clients.

This role is the technical backbone of client HR system setup — ensuring every configuration is accurate, compliant, and built to the client's exact governance structure. It's the right fit for someone who thrives on precision, enjoys solving complex configuration puzzles, and takes ownership of getting the details exactly right.

What you'll do

• Lead end-to-end systemic configuration of AllianceHCM's core HR modules, including customizing applicant tracking interfaces, building digital onboarding journeys, and setting up employee lifecycle management parameters.
• Configure and rigorously test automated compliance workflows, including Form I-9 processing and federal E-Verify integration, to ensure full legal adherence.
• Establish organizational hierarchies, security roles, permission boundaries, and dynamic approval routing paths tailored to each client's unique corporate governance structure.
• Partner with senior client HR teams to design and implement performance management configurations, including custom review templates, calibration matrices, and talent evaluation workflows.
• Conduct diagnostic testing and audits of HR records throughout onboarding to guarantee data integrity, confidentiality, and security during migration.
• Collaborate with Client Onboarding and Implementation teams to validate configurations prior to system go-live.
• Identify and elevate configuration or data anomalies, working with internal teams to resolve root causes and prevent recurrence.

What we're looking for

• 3+ years of experience in HRIS administration, HR tech implementation, or HR operations.
• 2+ years of experience with Swipe Clock Time and Attendance Software
• Demonstrated ability to configure complex business rules, security profiles, and workflow logic.
• Strong background in data governance, privacy standards, and systemic auditing.
• Experience configuring performance management and applicant tracking software.
• Exceptional attention to detail with the ability to translate client policy into precise system configuration.

Nice to have

• Experience with HCM platforms.
• Familiarity with Form I-9/E-Verify compliance systems.
• Background supporting client-facing HR implementations or SaaS onboarding projects.
• PHR, SHRM-CP, or similar HR certification.
