Job summary

Hawkins, Inc. in Minnesota seeks an HRIS Analyst to manage and optimize our HRIS, supporting payroll, benefits, onboarding, recruiting, and reporting across the organization.

This in-office role focuses on accurate data, system configurations, and process improvements to ensure timely HR workflows and strong data governance. The candidate will partner with HR, IT, Payroll, Benefits, and finance to implement changes, automate processes, and provide end-user support.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Information Systems, Business Administration, or related field preferred.
• 1–3 years of experience in HRIS administration, HR operations, payroll, or related field.
• Experience with Paylocity or another HRIS platform required; Paylocity strongly preferred.
• Experience developing HRIS reports, validating data, and working with spreadsheets and data analysis tools.
• Strong technical aptitude to learn and support HR technology applications, integrations, and workflows.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel, Outlook, and Word.
• Excellent written and verbal communication, ability to work with multiple stakeholders.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities, maintain data security, and meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Administer and maintain HRIS functionality, employee records, workflows, and related HR applications.
• Enter and validate new hire information and coordinate updates with HR teammates.
• Maintain employee demographic and employment information.
• Support status changes, promotions, transfers, leaves, terminations, and rehires.
• Develop, test, and optimize HRIS modules including onboarding, recruiting, time and labor, and reporting.
• Create standard and ad hoc HR reports for multiple stakeholders.
• Coordinate system access and security in line with policies.
• Provide end-user training and ongoing user support for HR technology tools.
• Collaborate with IT, Payroll, Benefits, and HR to resolve data issues and implement improvements.
• Document SOPs, process maps, and guidelines for consistent HRIS operations.
