Job summary

Hawkins Inc. is seeking an HRIS Analyst to administer and optimize our HRIS, supporting employee data, payroll, benefits, onboarding, recruiting, time and labor, performance management, learning, and reporting.

The role partners with HR, Payroll, Benefits, IT, and finance to ensure accurate data, compliant processes, and efficient HR technology operations. A 1–3 year background in HRIS is preferred, with Paylocity experience highly desired.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Information Systems, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.
• 1-3 years of HRIS administration, HR operations, human resources, payroll, or related field experience.
• Experience with Paylocity or another HRIS platform; Paylocity experience strongly preferred.
• Experience developing HRIS reports, validating data, and working with spreadsheets and data analysis tools.
• Strong technical aptitude and ability to learn, support HR tech applications, integrations, and workflows.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel, Outlook, and Word.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills with ability to identify root causes and propose practical solutions.
• Attention to detail and commitment to maintaining accurate employee data and system records.
• Excellent written and verbal communication, with ability to work with employees, managers, HR, Payroll, Benefits, IT, and external vendors.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities, organize work, and meet deadlines.
• Ability to handle confidential information with discretion and maintain data security.
• Demonstrated initiative, adaptability, and willingness to learn new systems and contribute to continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

• Administer and maintain HRIS functionality, employee records, system configurations, workflows, and HR applications.
• Enter and validate new hire information and ensure records are complete and compliant.
• Process employee data changes and coordinate updates with HR team.
• Maintain employee demographics and employment information.
• Support status changes including promotions, transfers, leaves, and terminations.
• Monitor data accuracy, research discrepancies, and resolve data issues.
• Protect confidential employee information and document system changes.
• Collaborate with HR, Payroll, Benefits, IT on issues and resolutions.
• Serve as a primary SME for HRIS and assist with onboarding, recruiting, time and labor, performance management, learning, surveys, compensation, and reporting.
• Identify opportunities to automate processes and improve self-service; perform functional testing for updates.
