Job summary

VSC Fire & Security, Inc. is seeking an HRIS Administrator to maintain our UKG HRIS environment, ensure data integrity, and produce accurate payroll-related reports. You will collaborate with HR and IT to optimize HR processes and analytics.

The role involves system configuration, reporting, data processing, and end-user training, with opportunity for professional growth in a growing security and life-safety company.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in HR, IT, Business or related field or equivalent training/experience.
• Proven experience as HRIS Administrator with UKG products (Kronos, UKG Pro).
• Strong understanding of HR processes including payroll, time & attendance, benefits administration and compliance.
• Proficiency in data analytics, reporting tools and HR metrics.
• Desirable: SHRM/PHR or other certification; SQL experience.

Responsibilities

• Administer and maintain the HRIS system, including configuration, data integrity, and troubleshooting.
• Develop and generate reports, dashboards, and analytics for HR decision-making.
• Serve as primary contact for HR data processing and personnel actions.
• Review HR paperwork for completeness; prepare for processing per policies.
• Enter and update employee data in HRIS, ensuring payroll deadline compliance.
• Process personnel data changes promptly and accurately per payroll schedules.
• Assist in managing personnel files and internal requests.
• Train HR staff and end-users on system functionality and best practices.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and legal requirements for employee data.
• Perform audits to ensure data accuracy and integrity in the HRIS system.
• Identify opportunities to automate HR processes and improve workflows.
• Manage user access and security within the HRIS platform.
• Support integration between UKG and other business systems.
