Job summary

Rural Metro Fire is seeking an HRIS Analyst to manage UKG Pro, Telestaff, and ADP across multiple states and entities. You will own configuration, data integrity, and reporting, partnering with HR, Payroll, IT, and vendors to optimize the system landscape.

The role emphasizes process automation, dashboard development, and secure handling of sensitive employee data while supporting system upgrades and annual enrollment cycles.

Qualifications

• 2–4 years of experience administering an HRIS platform with UKG Pro configuration and reporting.
• Strong timekeeping, payroll interfaces, and workforce management data knowledge.
• Experience building reports and dashboards from HRIS data; advanced Excel skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; ability to handle sensitive data with privacy.

Responsibilities

• Serve as primary system administrator for UKG Pro; configure pay rules, timekeeping, accruals, workflows, and access.
• Generate and distribute reports from UKG Pro, Telestaff, and ADP to HR, Payroll, Finance, and leadership.
• Build and troubleshoot integrations between UKG Pro and payroll/benefits systems; coordinate with IT/vendor.
• Provide day-to-day Telestaff scheduling data support and ensure consistency with UKG/payroll outputs.
• Design and maintain HRIS dashboards (headcount, turnover, overtime, compliance) for leadership.
• Audit HRIS data for accuracy; document data standards and configuration changes.
• Support testing and rollout of new modules and annual events (open enrollment, cycles).
• Translate multi-state rules into system configurations; collaborate with HR, Payroll, Risk & Safety.
• Develop end-user documentation and training materials for UKG, Telestaff, and ADP.
• Triage system access issues and route complex problems to vendor support; protect data privacy.
