Job summary

The Minnesota Department of Health is seeking a Transactions Support Services professional to provide timely, accurate HR assistance to managers and employees. You will process personnel transactions, ensure compliance, and deliver high-quality HR support in a hybrid work arrangement.

You will work with HR data, payroll, and labor agreements to guide decisions, while maintaining confidentiality and professionalism in a collaborative team setting.

Qualifications

• Six months of direct HR Technician or higher experience.
• One year of experience in HR, payroll, or account management.
• Bachelor's may substitute for up to one year of experience.
• Associate's may substitute for up to six months of experience.
• Knowledge of payroll and personnel transactions.
• Ability to handle confidential information and work in a team environment.

Responsibilities

• Review, approve, and enter personnel transactions in compliance with statutes, labor agreements, and salary plans.
• Provide HR and benefits guidance per labor agreements and laws.
• Audit employee relations transactions and suggest process improvements.
• Deliver administrative support for a variety of HR functions.
