Job summary

The University of Alabama at Birmingham is seeking an HR Training and Operations Analyst I to join our HRIS team. This role manages training and operations for one or more HR systems and serves as a resource for colleagues.

Responsibilities include training delivery, system testing, documentation, and process improvements to ensure compliant, efficient HR services. Remote/Hybrid eligible with day shift.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, HR, IT or related field.
• Three years of related experience required; education cannot be substituted.
• Experience with HR systems and policy interpretation is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Will provide training, support, troubleshooting and policy interpretation for assigned HR systems.
• Review, test and document system modifications to maintain or enhance the HR administrative systems.
• Develop and maintain online training and documentation, and provide seminars on functional topics.
• Oversee process improvements and design, development, testing and documentation of system modifications.
• Work with HR and IT teams to resolve issues related to systems/process/training/policy/awareness.
• Learn and understand changes and policies as they relate to the assigned systems.
• Special projects as assigned.
