Job summary

Schnucks Markets, Inc. seeks a Director of HR Technology and Operations to lead systems, processes, and services enabling HR to deliver efficient, reliable teammate experiences.

You will own the Workday roadmap, optimize administration, and consolidate recurring HR activities into a unified service delivery model. You will partner across HR, IT, Finance, Payroll, and business leaders to simplify processes and improve data quality.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in HR, IT or related areas.
• Minimum 5–8 years of proven experience driving Workday implementation, optimization, or administration with standardized HR operations across distributed teams.
• Experience supporting large, hourly workforces in grocery/retail/distribution environments.
• Hands-on experience with process automation, employee self-service tools, knowledge management, and HR case management frameworks.

Responsibilities

• Serve as HR business owner for Workday, establishing priorities, governance, and standards for system usage and ongoing improvement.
• Lead Workday administration and optimization including processes, configuration, reporting, testing, and user support with IT and functional owners.
• Improve teammate and manager self-service through intuitive workflows and targeted training.
• Coordinate Workday releases and enhancements, assess business value, manage testing, and support adoption.
• Establish standards for HR data accuracy and consistency across structures, positions, and records.
• Develop and maintain a multiyear HR technology roadmap aligned with business strategy and HR priorities.
• Define a centralized HR operations model with a service catalog, ownership, standards, escalation, and responsibilities.
• Lead change management and communications for new systems and service delivery practices.
• Establish performance measures and dashboards for service responsiveness, transaction accuracy, data quality, and productivity.
