Job summary

NC Department of Adult Correction seeks an HR Technician II to act as a key member of the OM/PA Team in Central HR. You will initiate and track organizational management and pay actions, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality while delivering high-quality customer service.

You will also support reporting via BOBJ, SAP GUI, Workday, and Excel, and update position descriptions in Workday. This role offers hybrid work with onsite Raleigh reporting and requires collaboration with cross-functional

Qualifications

• Associate's degree in HR or related field desired.
• 2 years of progressive experience in Human Resources preferred.
• Hands-on experience with Integrated HR systems is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Initiate and monitor OM/PA actions in IHRS system in fast-paced environment.
• Review OM and PA requests for accuracy and proper documentation.
• Provide guidance on OM requirements and best practices to staff.
• Generate reports using BOBJ, SAP GUI, Workday, and Excel to support decisions.
• Process position description updates in Workday.
• Collaborate with internal and external teams to complete action requests.
• Assist with OM projects and Smartsheet task assignments.
