Job summary

You will supervise HR Consultants and Technicians, ensure FLSA compliance, and align HRIS settings with state policies.

The role demands strategic planning, collaboration with OSHR/OSC, and ongoing process improvements to prevent over/underpayments and enhance efficiency within the HR time/leave domain.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in HR or related field with 3 years of experience.
• Associate’s degree with 5 years of experience in HR.
• High school or GED with 6 years of progressive HR experience.
• Equivalent combination of education and experience in HR.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute the strategic direction for the Time Administration Section.
• Define objectives, oversee implementation, and manage performance metrics.
• Act as SME on FLSA, overtime, shift premiums, and work schedule rules; ensure HRIS compliance.
• Provide supervision and professional development for HR Consultants and HR Technicians.
• Coordinate with OSHR, OSC, Internal Audit, and OSC BEST Shared Services.
• Oversee time audits and resolve high-level discrepancies with Settlement Section.
• Identify system enhancements and test new HRIS features.
