CVS Health is seeking an Engineering Leader to drive HR Technology platforms across multi-cloud environments, shape platform strategy, and lead DevOps and internal platforms. You will build and manage a high-performing team, align with architecture, product, and PMO, and deliver scalable, secure software in a fast-paced setting.

The role emphasizes executive communication, budget management, and driving AI-enabled solutions while optimizing costs and reliability across the software lifecycle.

Qualifications

• 10+ years leading large software programs with KPI reporting to Senior Leaders.
• 8+ years in matrix organizations.
• 4+ years partnering with architecture, product and PMO to influence development.
• 4+ years leading discovery sessions, workshops, demos, onboarding, enablement.
• 2+ years coordinating across software cross-functional teams.
• 2+ years managing vendor relationships and budgets.
• 2+ years communicating proposals, roadmaps and executive-ready recommendations.
• 2+ years mentoring resources and knowledge transfer.

Responsibilities

• Define and drive Platform strategy and delivery across Architecture, Product Owners and AppDev teams.
• Build and scale internal platforms, golden paths and self-service tools to reduce cognitive load.
• Scale CI/CD, IaC, GitOps, and DevSecOps with security and observability tooling.
• Design scalable, cost-effective technical solutions and enterprise integrations.
• Mentor and lead cross-functional teams; manage cloud spend and vendor negotiations.
• Track engineering metrics (DORA, deployments, MTTR) and ensure compliance.
• Evaluate AI/ML tools and cloud-native services for platform delivery.
