Job summary

The Smith Center in Las Vegas, NV seeks a Human Resources Coordinator to support talent acquisition, onboarding, training, and performance management. The role reports to the Associate Director, Human Resources and is full-time and exempt.

You will manage HRIS and payroll systems, ATS, and maintain personnel files, assist with benefits and leave administration, and help create training materials while fostering a positive work culture.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent experience.
• Minimum of three years in Human Resources and professional administrative support.
• Experience supporting recruitment lifecycle, onboarding, employee relations, engagement, policy administration, and training.
• Working knowledge of ATS, HRIS, and payroll systems.

Responsibilities

• Executes full-cycle recruiting for non-salaried positions from multiple sources.
• Supports staffing needs and maintains job descriptions reflecting responsibilities and qualifications.
• Manages pre-employment onboarding, HRIS setup, background checks, and pre-employment requirements.
• Coordinates onboarding, orientation, and welcomes new hires to culture and values.
• Assists with benefits enrollment, leave administration, and leave programs (FMLA, STD, LTD).
• Administers annual performance evaluations and assists with offboarding processes.
• Creates training materials and reporting metrics monthly, quarterly, and annually.
