The Hanover Insurance Group in Worcester, MA is seeking an HR Associate to join our Human Resources team in a hybrid role (2 days in office, 3 days at home). The position supports standard HR inquiries, implements day-to-day HR programs, and helps maintain knowledge bases and onboarding initiatives.

Ideal candidates have 1–3+ years in HR or customer service, strong communication and organizational skills, and proficiency with Microsoft Office. Bachelor’s degree is preferred.

• 1-3+ years of experience in HR, support function or customer service role.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.
• Strong organizational and prioritization skills.
• Strong time management and attention to detail skills.
• Strong computer skills to operate company systems; proficient in Microsoft Suite.
• Excellent time management and customer service skills.

Mansioni

• Handle standard and less complex employee and manager inquiries using case management tools.
• Provide accurate, timely responses to HR process, system, and policy requests.
• Make follow-up calls and conduct additional research as necessary.
• Identify and resolve issues and anticipate future needs by explaining/suggesting information to the customer.
• Refer complex cases to Sr. Associates, Advisors, or COE representatives and escalate as needed.
